Twenty two year old glacis resident, Miss Elena Angione, has walked away with the Miss Seychelles 2008 crown last Saturday in a glamorous show of beauty, grace and talent at the Tequila Boom, Bel Ombre. Before being crowned Miss Seychelles 2008, Elena had already won the Miss Personality award which put her in a strong position to challenge for the main title. According to the judges they were looking out for beauty, intelligence, motivation, dynamism and elegance as the Miss Seychelles 2008 will have to compete for the first time in 10yrs in the Miss World Beauty Pageant to be held later this year. ….more >
