Message from the Editor

Dear Reader

Le Nouveau Seychelles Weekly has been providing a free online service for the last two years. Our policy has always been to make the paper available for free to online readers. Unfortunately our situation has changed drastically in the last year. We cannot find a printing house willing to print our newspaper in Seychelles. We are now printing the paper in Mauritius and there is a foreign exchange element attached to this state of affair. We are therefore making an appeal to all our readers overseas for a minimum contribution of $20.00 USD (twenty American dollars) only, for an entire twelve months subscription. The contribution is totally voluntary. If you feel that you can make a bigger donation we will be willing to accept gratefully (just increase in the quantity field so that the amount will increase accordingly). However, if you feel that you are unable to make any contribution, we understand and you can still carry-on enjoying the paper with our full blessing.

Your contribution will go a long way in keeping free speech and the freedom of the press alive in our beloved little country. Your donation will go towards paying for the printing and transportation costs of the paper to Seychelles, any surplus will be put aside to finance our own printing machine. We thank you for your kind consideration and hope that you enjoy the Weekly during 2008. Below are the details of how to make payments, should you require a receipt for your donation, please contact the Editor on editorlnsw60@gmail.com .

(1) Click on www.globalsez.com. (2) Click on the LNSW Link. (3) Make payment through paypal. (4) You will be charged USD20.00 only

Thank you all for your contribution and keeping democracy and freedom of the press alive in Seychelles!

Le NouveauSeychelles Weekly wishes you success and happiness during 2008!
