CONFIRMATION THAT SPPF HAS REALLY LOST ITS MARBLES

One cannot but comment on the incredible dribble that is written in the SPPF rag bag every week. This week in “Pye Bodanmyen” they make the most incredibly stupid (even by their standards) comments against Mr. George Bibi, because he may it seems have been walking along the pavement near Maison du Peuple waiting for a lift home, at the same time that the SPPF Congress was in progress. Is this not a free country and are the pavements not there for everybody’s use? Are we all expected, in ever increasing numbers, to avoid passing any area where the ever diminishing group of loutish SPPF supporters gather? read more

The long term effect of coral bleaching on coral reefs

The plight of Seychelles’ coral reefs has been taken up by the media around the world following an international scientific study on the state of the islands’ reefs after the great coral bleaching of 1998. The research was conducted by scientists from the UK, Australia and locally from the Centre for Marine Research and the Seychelles Fishing Authority, with additional logistical and in kind support from Nature Seychelles. read more
