CHIRAG MEGHJEE SHAH OUTSHINES ALL

Chirag Meghjee Shah excelled at A-Level.

19-year-old Chirag Meghjee Shah, son of Dupad Meghjee Shah of Market Street, was spoilt for choice when it came to choosing a university in the UK. In the end, he settled for University College, London ,where he intends to pursue a Master’s Degree in civil engineering.

Young Chirags’ achievements at the International School have been nothing short of spectacular. He sat for his O-levels two years early and obtained A’s in all the subjects. Then he went on to take his A-levels, beating his classmates by two years, obtaining A’s in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. Not one to be bored doing nothing, Chirag took up another academic challenge and decided to attempt a two year course in A-level advanced mathematics in six months. He came out with a B. With time on his hands, he attempted advanced mathematics with Australia’s examination board where he obtained distinction.

Chirag twice won the international School’s best student award and three times President Bush’s award for good student.

Chirag said he wants to return home to Seychelles to work after his degree.

His university education in the UK is being paid for entirely by his father.

Well done Chirag!
