Today the SPPF Government is keeping very quiet about the increased cost of living and the growing inflation that is affecting the country. These issues are a direct result of the SPPF’s Government Policy. Everything in
The recent increases in fuel prices were a trick in getting the people to believe that suddenly prices on the international market have risen. Seychellois have been paying these prices since the Gulf War! In reality the money from this illegal tax regime has been wasted by a Government incompetent to manage one of the smallest and least complicated economy in the world! SPPF expenditure for elections ranks amongst the highest in the world. There is no transparency and accountability in this. There is no good governance policy to address these issues. There is no transparency in any of the processes that SPPF have put in place. As a result of this veil of secrecy, ordinary Seychellois are paying the price for voting for the SPPF at the last election.
SPPF are fooling the Good People of Seychelles again. They want us to believe that Devaluation has taken place already, with Mr. Governor of Central Bank announcement of making US $ - Rupee 1.0 - 8.0. This is not Devaluation; it is only the Beginning of Devaluation. Devaluation of our currency will continue for the next four years. No one will be saying congratulations SPPF in a few months. SPPF is the cause of our economic failures and the cause of the Devaluation of the Seychelles Rupees. No one else is.
Troukler wishes to inform its readers that the truth concerning the USD 4.5 million will soon be revealed. This comes in the light of a very, very, strong and robust defence of the person in question made by one of our top lawyers. The papers concerning this are soon to be filed in the Seychelles Courts. Troukler is looking forward to the testimony; the gentleman at the centre of the controversy will prove in the witness box under cross examination. This will prove what other allegations, such as the visit to the FBIs’ Most Wanted boat by the gentleman and other high ranking “4 D Luv of Seychelles” crew, were all about. Remember, testimony will be given under oath and perjury is not an option or an escape route in the event that the kitchen gets too hot.
Can the SPPF Government confirm whether the French Technician at Ministry of Finance who is tapping in the numbers for Danny has a valid GOP? Secondly, can they fast track the Carrfour Supermarket now instead of waiting before the next Presidential Elections, since we need baby food for our infants today. Cerelac is much better than coconut milk for them.
Last week Mr. Christopher Gill, in his regular column in this newspaper, made a proposition which has attracted particular attention amongst our readership. Gill proposed that the Rasta(s) should be given one of the out-lying islands now under the control of the Islands Development Company. IDC is a state-owned company currently under the direct control of Mr. Glenny Savy (CEO).
According to Gill, IDC is being managed like a Kingdom and has failed. The head of IDC has already told us on SBC about his annual failures and requirements for subventions from government to keep these islands going. We have given everyone an island under the SPPF, why not the Rasta(s). Gregoire has Felicite; Francis Savy has almost the entire of St. Anne gifted to him for one rupee. It is time to seriously think about giving the Rasta(s) their own island. A case can be made. We must consider it seriously, Gill argued.
Finally Gill warned that the only thing the Rasta(s) will have to watch out for is if Glenny starts growing dreadlocks to enter the Island Colony to take control of the profits earned. For the benefit of our readers, we have put together an artist impression of how the CEO of IDC would look if he was to grow locks. Not bad, his locks really suit him, he looks “Kool”. What do you think? (The locks are the original locks of Reggae Legend Bob Marley)
