Since its humble beginnings, Mecom has developd itself to represent world class brands known to many. A few years ago, Mecom bought PEX Hydraulics (Mtius), an ISO 9000 registered company which is involved essentially in the repairs and sales of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, control valves etc. Since the integration in the Mecom group, PEX has matured into a company also representing many world class brands such as Parker, Festo Pneumatics, Fleetguard and Pall Filters. A sister company, Flexicom, involved in the supply of Hydraulic hoses and fittings, now also offers a range of light construction equipment such as concrete poker vibrators, mixers, generators, water pumps, welding generators and concrete cutters etc.

These companies are represented by Mr. Sebastien Bax who visits the island on a regular basis and is committed to developing these products in Seychelles. Mr. Bax notes - “Our Agencies reguire of us to develop the Indian Ocean Market and support the development of the Indian Ocean Islands, It is thus our duty to be more present in Seychelles.
