SWEARING AT FOOTBALL MATCHES NOW AN OFFENCE

IT was pleasing news to hear that people are now being arrested and fined for using foul language at football matches. The Federation had announced that strict measures were to be taken to ensure that supporters would be able to watch matches without suffering verbal abuse. But like all measures taken in our country, the implementation was the major concern.

But now that arrests have started being made this will send a clear message to all those who usually uses inappropriate language at those venues. So families can now start enjoying local football matches with children and not having to worry about the kind of language being used. Let's hope that other federations will start applying the same measures at other sports venues.
