SPPF Hires Professional Hit-men?

Le Nouveau Seychelles Weekly has received unconfirmed information that the services of foreigners are being sought to act as hit-man to eliminate political dissent and criminal recidivists in society at large. If true, this will not be the first time that branches of the State have been used to employ lethal force in a desperate move to eliminate undesirables in Seychelles and outside. Only recently the police openly admitted liability before the Supreme Court of Seychelles for the cold blooded murder of Robin Henriette. The Attorney-General has obstinately refused to prosecute the culprits for this particular murder and the police officers responsible are still being employed by the SPPF government in the police force where they operate with impunity.

People like Gerard Hoareau, Simon Desnousse, Mike Asher, Hassan Ali, Simon Ah-Time, Dave Benoiton, Damantra Eulenti, Ricky Hermitte, Georges Aglae, Claude Monnaie were all allegedly gunned down by agents of the State under suspicious circumstances. However the agents who performed the dirty deeds did not make a good job of it and many loose ends were left untied. Thus, there was enough evidence left behind to incriminate other powerful politicians who may not want their names associated with these unlawful killings. This is why it is now being felt that foreign professional hit men originating from Russia and other former Eastern Block countries are now seriously being considered for the job. Many of these foreigners are thought to be ex-KGB agents or with strong links to the powerful ex-politbureau in Russia.

It is believed that the Powers that be has lost faith in the ability of the State House Security Unit (SHSU) and other local agencies to perform these unlawful killings in a professional and efficient manner leaving no evidence behind. Every State-sponsored killings so far involving local secret service agent is now known publicly only a very short while after the incident had occurred. Evidence showing clearly who the people behind the killings and the killers are, is also rampant.

The local agents are not known for being able to keep a secret for long. “What I am about to tell you is highly secretive and dangerous, promise me you won’t tell it to anyone” they have often been heard to utter in public bars after one drink too many. Their Employers having realized their incompetence and lack of professionalism have now decided to seek expert from overseas for the job, with Russia or possibly Ireland being suggested as their country of origin.

Their targets are expected to be what has been dubbed by State House as the political “Enemies of the People” and criminal recidivists. Others who will be targeted are drug barons, and syndicate of organized crimes, a new group who have hitherto managed to “evade” the long arm of the Law. These assassins are also known for their proficiency at setting up and framing people. The danger with this controversial tactic is that anyone can easily become a target even if you are not guilty of any wrong doing.

It is expected that over the years more than fifty killings in the country have been closely linked to the secret service and the police force. Not even one person has been prosecuted for these atrocities. These rogues enjoy total immunity from prosecution and are the only people in this country who can truly be said to be above the law and the Constitution. These assassins are known to have been in the country in the last two weeks to discuss terms and conditions of service with the local authority. This is why we have decided to come out with the story in the hope that it will help halt the exercise at least for the time being, giving time for the international community to react.
