An oversized suit

Sir, I read with utter dismay of the Rising Sun's article highlighting Mr. Ramadoss lawsuit against the Seychelles Weekly for Rupees 14 Million, claiming that his reputation has been damaged by an article that was titled "Bogus Philanthropist....”.

To keep things simple, what kind of reputation can a casino gambling operator have? These sleazy elements all over the world make a living off of society. They make a living off people's failure to control gambling habits and their bad luck.

A casino operator, in my opinion, that earns a living off gambling then takes that money and buys medical equipment for the public hospital which he is a special adviser to is no different than a fly that lands on your grilled fish and lays eggs. Are you supposed to thank the fly for this social environmental mishap? I should think not. Are you to thank the casino operator from fleecing the public and the special adviser for running the hospital into the ground, I should think not.

In my opinion, this lawsuit sounds like and looks like Ramadoss himself: all dressed up in one of those over sized suits.

It shows that Ramadoss can dish it out, but he cannot take criticism. He also shows the people of Seychelles he lacks tolerance and cannot defend himself, because the position which he stands for in our society is un-defendable. Humility is his best and only possible defense.

Where is the deposit of millions which you came to Seychelles with when entering the Country for the first time Doctor? Or did you come empty handed? If so, how did you amass so much wealth that today you can belittle Seychellois with medical equipment donations.

Why is it Doctor that you and your companies are conveniently made available to purchase and lease Government of Seychelles assets while others are denied the right to meaningfully participate in the economic life of our Country?

It seems Seychelles is for Ramadoss. This convenient relationship would not have anything to do with the fact that you have been closely linked to the Former President’s heart (maintenance section of course).

The next Government should double-check Ramadoss’ application for Citizenship just to ensure it has been done according to all the regulations. Maybe President Michel can be progressive and do the job.

In the meantime Doctor, go take some "Creole lessons " at "Institit Kreol".
