GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!

The Ministry for Tourism and Transport wanted to extract some much needed credit on the back of the hard work and dedication of Mr. Joseph Albert. Vice-President Belmont took advantage at the launching of a new catamaran worth almost 40million rupees, Christened Cat Cocos II, to plug the tourism industry. Instead of giving the event his full attention and respect deserving of the occasion, Vice-President Belmont carried on about the virtues of his ministry.

If it was left to the Ministry for Tourism and Transport Cat Cocos II would have existed only in our dreams. Mr. Joseph Albert the chairman of Inter Island Boats was the driving force behind the project. Despite difficulties Mr. Joseph Albert persisted and delivered on his promise to make available a more modern vessel for the inter-island ferry service, between Mahe and Praslin.

Le Nouveau Seychelles Weekly on behalf of all our patrons and the public in general would like to express our most sincere congratulations to Inter Island Boats and in particular its chairman, Mr. Joseph Albert. The contribution being made into the economic life of Seychelles by this venture is valuable beyond measure. This is the reason why the government must facilitate whatever is necessary to make this endeavour as trouble free as it is possible. This SPPF government has an aptitude at frustrating successful projects especially when the leaders of the party in power or their sycophants are not benefiting, financially, from its operations. This attitude needs to change if we are to attract more people like Mr. Joseph Albert into participating in the economic wellbeing of Seychelles…….
