Seychelles Strategy 2017 – twisted before it is started

James Alix Michel has shown the true state of the “Seychelles Strategy 2017”.  On the part of the SPPF it is just what we expected – some held high and full of gibberish.  This was broadcast as part of the last SPPF PPB on Sunday 6th May 2007.  Gran J showed us how much confidence he has in the strategy by holding it UPSIDE DOWN!  This is a guarantee by non-other than the “President of all Seychelles” that Seychelles Strategy 2017 will never be implemented or that it will be implemented upside down!  “Judge me by my actions” says Troukler.

News from Cosmoledo – “Sesel Pa Pe Fonksyonen”.

A mother recently whispered to Troukler that something is a miss in Seychelles Incorporated.  Her son went on a big names fishing trip.  What a fishing trip it was!  How he managed to have a name “E. J. Savy” which incidentally is not his for the fishing trip is still not very clear.  Apparently to fish with big fish you need a ‘big name’.  He also had a briefcase full of the names of big fish he did business with who still owed him money, foreign money.  This does not seem to have helped as he has now been canned in the process. Troukler is waiting for the details of the name giving ceremony to be made known.

Number of Ambulances on Mahé

The number of ambulances serving North Mahe has reached amazing figures.  Troukler has learnt that from the promise that there would be an ambulance at each of the clinics with one at English River, one at Beau Vallon, and two at Mont Fleuri there is only one for all four clinics.  Someone is counting something else is all Troukler can say! However in the last few weeks vehicles from car hire firms are being used to ferry patients around – at least until after the election.

The Republic of Roche Caiman

According to Mrs. Giovanna Charles in a speech she made last Sunday at the SPPF rally on Gordon Square, the opposition candidate for the district was endorsed in his PPB on TV by someone from Praslin. The lady Mrs. Charles was referring to is a resident of Roche Caiman and her name appears on the voters list of the district. She did work on Praslin for a short while a few years back. Does that make her an illegal immigrant at Roche Caiman? Troukler was under the impression that citizens of the Republic are free to move and work in whichever district they find employment.
