A Cry from the Wild

The voice of the “Sesel Pou Seselwa” Movement

Give our patrimony back to our children

We challenge the SPPF government to the magnanimous task of living up to its socialist ideals and redistribute the land to all the children of this country. In fact they should honour all the children born since 5th June ’77- the day they were promised a better future. 2000 and beyond has come and gone! ‘Onward to Socialism’ has been taken out of circulation for fear that the newer generations will learn about Albert Rene’s failed ideas that have hurt this nation. Back then, Sesel Pou Seselwa was the slogan that got the people’s attention. Patriotism, Nationalism, Altruism, Socialism and many other ‘isms’ were invoked; to strike a chord in the national psyche and usher in communism… TODAY, we see that all this rhetoric that France Albert Rene was unleashing on his people was principally to enrich himself and his fellow perpetrators of the Coup d’Etat! Now that the kleptomaniac disease has eaten them inside out, they have slapped the FOR SALE sign on the very patrimony that they purportedly intended to redistribute amongst the Seselwa…

On this infamous night, the SPPF decided to betray our first constitution to change the course of the newly independent Seychelles. They imposed their own will in a cowardly act of treason under the pretext of ‘liberating’ the Seychellois to give us a better future. The chief architect of this treachery, France Albert Rene, wanted to impose his communist ideologies to advance his own personal agenda – ironically, he was the Minister for Land Use!! The imposition of a dictatorship from 77 to 93 provided him with the framework to achieve his personal dream. The dream of greed and envy, the dream of becoming the local Robin Hood hero! The dream to being the richest man in Seychelles- from his humble beginnings of ‘tres peu de sous’! The dream of taking over the playboy mantle from his rival James Mancham – a ‘playboy du poulayer’ indeed with all the little spitting image Alberts (mini me) that he has fathered all across the land!! He had many more dreams but the list is too long…that it is now causing the worst nightmare…

Today, he has stepped down and installed his dynasty to ensure that he gets lifetime protection from any form of justice or retribution. Chief architect cannot enjoy a peaceful retirement as his conscience is taking him hostage. He has now turned into Puppet Master, as he has to save his skin and keep the pantomime going…

FPPS Pact

Freedom & Power for the People of Seychelles

This is a pact that we request and expect the SPPF government to fulfill in order to compensate the people of Seychelles for all the follies, plundering and mismanagement of the country since their act of treason of 5th June 77. All the children of the ‘revolution’ will sign up as guardians / custodians of all the islands that form part of the Seychelles archipelago. All 115 odd islands have to be given back to the 85.000 odd shareholders of this country. They will sign up and pledge to protect this patrimony for their own children, in the true spirit of ‘Nou zanfan nou trezor, nou zil, nou trezor’. The fundamental aim of this pact is to give our country back to its people. This is a noble act of redistributing the country’s wealth to its rightful citizens. Enough of the plundering, let’s take back our country!!

James Michel please take heed of these demands as the Sesel Pou Seselwa movement is on the march and it will come back to haunt you and all your fellow traitors. Mugabe did a hasty land redistribution to try and keep himself in power. Your government has sold off this land to foreigners in a desperate attempt to prolong your SPPF clique’s grip on power. Mugabe’s experiment has had horrific consequences for Zimbabwe. Seychelles is unfortunately heading that same route if Robin Hood’s intention of selling off to the rich instead of giving back to the poor is allowed to continue with impunity.

<<Sesel pou Seselwa… nou later nou trezor… nou ban zil, nou patri…Nou pa pou les SPPF vann nou nanm ek etranze…Sesel pou Seselwa>>
