Troukler finds it very funny that the SPPF now look towards democracy to protect the post of the Speaker of the National Assembly. Their majority in the National Assembly did not democratically elect the Speaker of the National Assembly. The Speaker was undemocratically appointed by President James Alix Michel. This action was not in the protection of democracy as the Executive arm of democracy (The President) was directly interfering in the Legislative function of democracy (The Assembly). The SPPF did not notice this and or else chose to ignore it. Furthermore, the proceedings in the National Assembly has never been in favour of democracy or been towards strengthening democracy. Suddenly democracy is at stake in the National Assembly only because the SPPF hypocrites think so. Troukler says “how can you protect something that you do not have?”
In true “For the Love of Seychelles” spirit, President James “Judge me by my actions” Michel continues to use sycophancy and not meritocracy as his operating principle. The current STB chairman has been given the entire tourism mandate for

IDC has never made any profit or been able to refund the Government any money. Charging 1,600 Euros per head for a stay on Farquhar is not small business.
