Moutia & Co. are laughing all the way to the bank

Sir - Unsurprisingly this notebook issue for teachers is creating a lot of controversy.  Apparently, Government is saying that teachers are only paying 25% of the real value of the computer.  If this is the case, Moutia & Co. are laughing all the way to the bank as the lower level Dell sells for $499 in the States and I imagine if one was to place an order for 1500 units, one would get a substantial discount.  Therefore the teachers are nearly paying the real cost price, and Space95 has just made an INCREDIBLE profit on each unit.  Multiply this by 1500!  Even if they made SR2, 000 per notebook, that’s a whopping SR3 million in profit!  Simply amazing!  The message once again must be that the Tender Board is used only when it does not benefit their pockets, and that James Michel once again is not keeping his word in regards to corruption in Government circles!

Mauritian(s) are laughing at us

Sir - I would be most grateful if you could investigate the situation in the Finance Division of Air Seychelles where the post of Management is concern.  How could we, the People of Seychelles, our money is being governed by the Mauritian (s)?  We have got two Mauritian (s) who are attending to our money.  We have got a Director of Finance and a Chief Finance Officer who are both Mauritian (s) and who can be both replaced by Seychellois who are qualified and has the experience after working for about ten years in the said company.  Their names are (name edited) and (name edited) who have studied in the U.K.

Mauritian (s) is laughing at us saying 'Seychellois are good for nothing ' when we are not.  They just say this because they do not want us to go forward.

Thank you sir for you investigation.

Yours sincerely

A concern citizen.

Editor’s note: The investigation is already in motion.
