BABY’S MILK UNAVALAIBLE IN THE SHOPS

President Michel must address this issue personally – he should not send someone else to come and offer another over exaggerated excuse on national television. The shops have run out of baby’s milk and there is no sign that stocks will be made available anytime soon. The last shipment came in some months ago. The importers are complaining that the foreign exchange required for the importation of this most vital commodity is not forthcoming. This is a very, very serious matter as the situation is putting the health of our very young children at risk. In 2005 we had as our national theme “Our children – our treasure – our future”. What has happened to this solemn promise made only two short years ago? It has been cast aside and forgotten like all the rest. Is it not time to hold President Michel to his words “Judge me by my actions”? You will get an opportunity on the 12th of May!
