Clipping Gran Golan’s wings

It seems that the lines are being drawn in the battle of the big birds.  On Sunday during the 8 p.m. Creole news, in a break with tradition, SBC had the audacity to muzzle President France Albert Rene using a voice over.  This was followed immediately by President Michel being given free rein on the airwaves.  This affront by Gran J to Gran Golan follows upon that of the candidates’ debacle that is gripping SPPF.  In the original line-up presented just before the presidential election last year 6 candidates have now been confirmed as replaced.  It shows that the old guards are beginning to lose their grip on things as the situation grows more desperate.

Shenanigans in insurance!

Troukler has learnt that a certain high official within an insurance company is transferring vehicles imported under the company name to his own name.  You can call this lining your nest before the bubble burst.  Not satisfied with milking the cow in this manner he is now milking the barn as well. He  has the audacity to authorise payments by the insurance company for private work done for him (to individuals not contracted by the insurance company).  Troukler believes that this abuse is about “If you can do it, I can do it better”. This is the attitude of the top brass trying to outdo each other.

Allowances by the top brass!

Troukler wishes to know when the military will start accounting for the allowances given to non-military personnel by the army.  Girl friends, mistresses, wives, family members and distant family members all share in the military cake!  “Charity begins at home” Troukler is told but, where does the buck stop?  Look at the traveling being undertaken and the fuel costs involved.  Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing?
